Here’s what she had to say upon winning this award Receiving this award means a lot to me because professionalism is a very important part of becoming a successful esthetician. It’s not only about performing treatments well, but also about how you treat clients, communicate, and create a welcoming and respectful environment. Being recognized for professionalism encourages me to continue working hard, representing myself positively, and providing the best experience possible for future clients. I chose this industry because, as someone who hasn’t always felt confident or comfortable in my own skin, I understand how much that can affect a person. Seeking guidance and help to improve my own skin showed me how powerful skincare can be for building confidence. That experience inspired me to pursue esthetics so I can help others feel more comfortable, confident, and beautiful in their own skin. The advice I would give to someone beginning an esthetician program is to stay open to learning and be patient with yourself. There is always something new to learn in this industry, and growth takes time and practice. I would also encourage them to remember that esthetics is about more than skincare, it’s about helping people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. If you stay passionate, work hard, and truly care about your clients, you will succeed. Congratulations Jesslyn!

Her professionalism, positive attitude, and commitment to learning on the salon floor have truly stood out. Grace was recognized by her educators for the way she consistently shows up for her guests, her peers, and her craft. ⏬️ Get to know Grace below as she shares her experience in the program and what inspires her on her beauty journey. “Earning this award is both an honor and a powerful source of motivation. It serves as a reminder that dedication, consistency, and hard work truly do pay off. One of the most valuable lessons I have learned is that what you put into this career is exactly what you will get out of it. Additionally, I have come to appreciate that there is always something new to learn and opportunities to continue growing, both professionally and personally. From the age of four, I knew this was the career path I wanted to pursue. It has been my dream for as long as I can remember. I am passionate about serving others, expressing creativity, and helping people feel confident and their very best. My niche is blonding and lived-in color. I am especially passionate about truly understanding my clients’ expectations and delivering results that align with their vision. Being blonde myself, I have always been drawn to this specialty, as I understand the wide range of tones, techniques, and the level of precision required. Here is what Amaya had to say about winning this award: I am most passionate about making people feel both beautiful and taken care of. Getting to offer a wide variety of skin services, makeup, facials, and treatments gives me the opportunity to help people feel beautiful in all aspects! Receiving this award is an honor, and proves to me that my hard work in school is being seen and recognized, and will keep me motivated for  the future once I am out of school. My favorite part about TSPA is getting to meet so many new people, whether it be my classmates, educators, or new guests. I was very honored, and humbled to see how my peers perceive me 🥰 I want to continue to put my best foot forward, and see what I can do! What made you choose to start a career in the beauty industry? I have anyways loved doing hair and makeup, and making people feel beautiful is right up my alley! What advice would you give someone who is beginning in the cosmetology or esthetics program?
